Fitting an accessory for my zoom lens stopped the snow from affecting the video quality as it would stay dry. As well as this I cut up a see through plastic wallet and stapled it over the body of the camera. This meant that the body stayed dry however as it was see through I was still able to see what I was doing. This was very effective and I am very pleased with my creation.

Testing Conditions

This weekend we were presented with a new challenge, filming in the snow. The video embedded shows the struggles we had for example keeping the camera lens and body dry!

Storyline

 

This is the storyline for my music video that we are looking to begin filming towards the end of this week. My friend from the schools cricket academy is looking to help broaden her knowledge of filming and directing so has helped me come up with this storyline. She is also going to be present on all filming days as her creative mind shall compliment my passion for editing to hopefully make an impressive christmassy music video.

Yesterday I had my first setback when it came to shooting. The sky looked perfect for filming and when I left my house the sky was beautiful however by the time I got there it had gone from yellow to grey which was very disappointing.

Meet The 'Team'

Let me introduce myself, my name is Tom Ballington and I study Maths, Pe and Media Studies.  My aim goal at the end of this task is to have created a music video for a song of my choice and will be documenting my progress regularly throughout the process using this blog.
